E-consult

Via an e-consult, you can quickly ask your healthcare professional a question online. Healthcare professionals make the choice themselves whether to use the e-consult, so it is not available in every Healthspace.

If your healthcare professional uses the e-consult, you will find a button in the top left corner of your Healthspace Worksheet:

Suitable questions for the e-consultation are:

1. questions about test results
2. questions about chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or asthma
3. questions about medication
4. questions about lifestyle advice, such as weight loss, nutrition, alcohol consumption, and quitting smoking
5. questions about (physical) complaints for which you have previously visited the consultation
6. questions arising from a previous consultation

Not suitable for the e-consultation (but please call the practice for advice or an appointment):

1. urgent questions
2. questions where you are unsure about the urgency
3. complaints that worsen or change
4. questions about new physical complaints
5. questions about emotional problems

Reimbursement

The e-consultation is not free, but is reimbursed by your insurer.
