Your browser, the program you use to view web pages, will ask for permission to use your camera and microphone during the first video call. Once you have granted this permission, your browser remembers it, and you will not need to grant permission again next time.
Pop-up blocking
If you do not see a notification on screen to grant permission, pop-up blocking may be enabled. Navigate to one of the help pages for your browser below, where you can find information about pop-up settings. Pop-up blocking must be (temporarily) disabled to ensure the video call runs smoothly.

The notification for granting permission to use your camera and microphone varies by browser. We have listed the notifications below so you know how to grant permission and what notification to expect.
Internet Explorer
Video calling is no longer supported with Internet Explorer. To continue using video calling, you can switch to, for example, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.

How can I check if I have granted permission in my browser?
When recording a video call in Karify, you will first see a screen where you can test your video and audio. Click on the video camera icon in the top right corner and check here if your browser has permission to use your camera and microphone.
