In addition to secure emailing, you can also send and receive secure attachments via Messages in Karify. How exactly does this work?
Sending attachments
You can add an attachment of up to 250MB to your message. Below the text field, you will see the buttons:
- Click on Messages, New message

- Choose the type of file you want to add (document, image, audio, video, link to a website, or library item).
- Enter the name and a description of the file.
- Click on Choose a file. You can now upload a file from your computer.
- Click on Save and then on Send. Your message will now be sent with an attachment.
Receiving attachments
You receive a message with an attachment:
If you click on the file, you can view it. Additionally, you have two options:
- You can add the file to your dossier:

- You can safely store the file in your Karify dossier. You can also choose to share the file within your dossier in Healthspace. Read more about this in the article Sharing from your file.
- You can download the file to your computer:

Link to a website
You can also send a link to a website; this is done as follows:
- Click on Messages, New message
- Click on the icon to insert a link to a website
- Enter the URL of the website and press save
- You can then send the message.

You can upload the following file types: .pdf, .rtf, .txt, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .pps, .ppsx, .ppt, .pptx, .odt, .ods, .odp, .zip, .mp3, .mp4, .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png.
